Background
The privacy policy for Keyvan.FM is very simple because it does not collect much information from its visitors or users.
Keyvan.FM is an online podcasting channel with audio content managed and hosted by Keyvan Nayyeri, and it respects the following policy. Keyvan.FM undertakes to act according to this privacy policy and its corresponding terms of use. Future changes to this document are possible under the conditions described in the policy.
All users must agree to this privacy policy, terms of use, and copyright in order to be able to have access to Keyvan.FM site, its services, and its content.
In this document the terms “Keyvan.FM”, “we”, “us” and “our” all refer to the same concept that is the legal identity behind Keyvan.FM. Also the terms “user” and “client” both refer to users or visitors of Keyvan.FM.
Visitor Information
1- For the purposes of site operation, statistics, and security, Keyvan.FM aggregates some visitor information such as Internet Protocol address (IP), browser type, client preferences, and similar stuff that are commonly provided by web browsers, and are used by many other sites as well. Keyvan.FM does not use this information to identify its visitors and does not store this information in a per-visitor basis. It only collects a general report of this information for abovementioned purposes.
We also aggregate some statistical information from users for analyzing site operation, and also to publish them publicly, but we only publish general summary reports and never aggregate statistics about individual visitors.
2- Keyvan.FM undertakes to gather visitor information and aggregated statistics only for three purposes of site operation, security, and statistics, and also undertakes to not share this information with anyone else except in two cases: (i) to comply with laws (ii) to use in a secure and private way for future development of Keyvan.FM software.
Personal Identifying Information
Keyvan.FM needs to gather some personal information and personal-identifying information from its visitors. The type and level of the information varies by the type of interaction by the visitor. Keyvan.FM may ask the visitor to enter this information or may aggregate them automatically via web protocol properties.
1- For general visitors (anonymous), Keyvan.FM only aggregates the information described in the “Visitor Information” section.
2- For visitors who leave a comment, Keyvan.FM needs to gather their name, email address, website URL (optional), and the content of the comment. Keyvan.FM asks visitors to enter such information and then allows them to leave their comments. User’s email is used (i) to display his/her Gravatar image and (ii) to contact with him/her if future private interaction is necessary.
Keyvan.FM undertakes to store the personal identifying information in a secure way where they are accessible only to Keyvan.FM managers and administrators.
Information Security
Keyvan.FM undertakes to store all its software information in a secure way. This security is achieved in three layers.
1- Hardware security: According to Keyvan.FM’s contract with its hosting company, they guarantee the hardware security to not allow any illegal user to have access to the hardware, operating system, and data for Keyvan.FM.
2- Software security: This layer of security is achieved at different levels. Secured authentication and authorization mechanisms for site and various automatic and manual security monitoring and management mechanisms prevent any illegal access to the information. Keyvan.FM also uses strong passwords and 2-step phone verification to protect its hardware and software.
3- Legal security: Legally the information of Keyvan.FM site cannot be shared with anyone else unless in a case to comply with laws. All Keyvan.FM managers, administrators, employees, and contractors must sign and agree to an agreement that contains this privacy document and are not allowed to share any portion of the information with third parties.
Cookies
A cookie is a unique string value that can be stored on your local computer by a site. Keyvan.FM does not store a cookie for its visitors.
Statistics
Keyvan.FM aggregates some information for statistical purposes on a regular basis. Detailed information is stored for short periods of time and only general summaries will be kept by Keyvan.FM for future examinations. Keyvan.FM holds its rights to publish this statistical information for the purposes of (i) showing its trends, (ii) helping its business and marketing, and (iii) publishing content for research and development.
Keyvan.FM undertakes to not aggregate any personal information of its visitors and users for statistical purposes.
Respecting to Laws
We undertake to this privacy policy and the corresponding terms of use and ask all our visitors to comply with them. Keyvan.FM has the right to stop serving to any visitor that does not agree and respect the privacy and terms of use with or without a notice.
Keyvan.FM is legally responsible to its privacy policy and terms of use, and undertakes to respect to all international laws (including copyright laws) as well as local United States and state of Texas laws.
